Query regarding upgrade

Hi,

We have a plan to upgrade our application from Pega 6.2 SP1 to Pega 7.3.1 version. Could you let me know if we can run migrate script and upgrade rule script without shutting down production system? Will there be any issue if users are working on production and we migrate and then upgrade rule schema ( split schema approach). We will upgrade data schema in separate release.

Hi,

From the upgrade guide you can refer the below steps to achieve the same

So I believe if you do it correctly, only one restart would be needed while making changes in application server.
