Query Regarding Pega Upgrade to PostgreSQL
Hi, Our applications are going to be upgraded to Pega 8.6 version. Could you let us know if Postgres is supported for WAR deployments on Websphere? If yes, can we use IBM JDK 11 version?

WAR deployment is supported on websphere application server.
As per platform support guide IBM Java 8 is supported. Please find below the platform support guide link.

@GOWRISHANKAR Could you confirm if we can install application WAR deployment on Websphere for Postgres deployment? As per support guild, we can need Tomcat or JBoss for Postgress but wanted to confirm with Pega if we can go ahead with Websphere with WAR deployment with Postgres as DB.

@GOWRISHANKAR Apologies, i could not read your comment properly. So as you have mentioned that WAR deployment is supported on Websphere, we will go ahead with WAR deployment on Websphere with PostgeSQL as db.
In support guide, it is mentioned that PostgreSQL is supported on Tomcat and JBoss so I was not sure if we can deploy application on Websphere with WAR deployment with PostGreSQL as database.
If you think that still we can not go ahead with Websphere, please let me know.

@GOWRISHANKAR Could you reply to my below query? We can't proceed with our upgrade plan unless we get confirmation on below query.

The Websphere & PostgreSQL combination is not supported as mentioned in support guide. Please refer below link for a similar query.
