pzDesignerStudio skin is getting applied to application portal when launching portal from designer studio after upgrading to 7.2.2
Hi, after upgrading to Pega 7.2.2 whenever we launch application from designer studio through launch icon pzDesignerStudio skin is getting applied instead of our skin own skin rule. When we launch application normally outside designer studio the correct skin is getting applied. How to fix this issue?
While checking from Live UI the skin rule name mentioned is our application skin rule. But when I right click any element and view inspect element, the css source file name shows as pzDesignerStudio_legacy_.css

From Live UI the skin rule referred is your application skin rule. And, on inspecting the element, the css source file name shows as pzDesignerStudio_legacy_.css. It appears that the style could be overridden.
Is the custom skin saveAs of the pzDesignerStudio skin? Also, verify if any additional styles(css files) are added to the custom skin rule.

No, the app skin rule is not a save as of designer studio skin. We have two additional css files added in our skin rule, one for a custom throbber and another is for py-icons from UI kit. I am not sure how it is getting overridden as when the application is launched individually the correct skin is applied. Also, when launched from designer studio some part of our app skin is getting displayed but only in few places like header...

Try to delete the Application cache and the temp folder from the application sever which might help.

Hello Aravinth,
Please override default application skin with your custom skin rule from the drop down. You can find this preferences option at Top right corner of the designer studio( Where you can log off from the application).
