Is pyPegaExpunger Job relevant to non pega cloud deployments?
Hi Pega, In our environment i see the following error occurring: PEGA0099 Job Scheduler pyPegaExpunger execution failed due to following reason:, ?, ASTERISK, <, >, |, : from this page: Case archiving and purging overview | Pega i understand it does the following: The pyPegaExpunger (default short description: Archival_Expunger) Job Scheduler permanently deletes archived files from Pega Cloud File Storage and removes the data for the corresponding cases from the Elasticsearch index We do not have a pega cloud deployment, is this job still relevant to run? If so is there any known cause to this error? Thanks!

Hi @Niels_U: This is not specific to PEGA cloud. Archival and purging can be implemented in on-premises too. I suggest to check if there are any archival of cases in your application using PEGA Job schedulers. If yes, you need to look into it. If there is no archival process implemented in your application using PEGA job schedulers, then it is safe to stop the Job scheduler.

@ArulDevan Thanks for you reply, I am aware archiving is not Pega cloud specific. My question is if the expunger job is Pega cloud specific as the Pega documentation seems to imply it. I was hoping for a clear confirmation. Anyways so far i conclude the scheduled job is irrelevant for my situation. Thanks for replying tho :)
