pxObjClass being sent in Connect REST after upgrade to Pega 8.7.3

Hi,

  Greetings. Hope you are well! We recently upgraded from Pega 7.3.1 to Pega 8.7.3. Whilst testing the application against 8.7.3 code, we found that pxObjClass is being passed as an extra attribute in a request (REST). Whilst there are ways to remove this pxObjClass from being sent, i wanted to know if there is any change in Integration component within Pega where this property is being added? 

Can you please share your thoughts?
