PRPC v8.2.1 Personal Edition Installation failing

I am trying to install PRPC v8.2.1 Personal Edition but failing due to unable to connect/start database server. I believe the problem might be with file pg_hba.conf to allow un-comment local collections as "*" & database port as 5432, but when I update then run the installation it's not going through. Please give me a solution.

Hi Bala,

It seems your postgre DB server is not up.Can you use pgadmin studio to connect to db and then run installation.

Please elaborate bit more clearly. I didn't understood how to connect to DB without installation the software?
