processing a case from other case without parent-child relationship between them.
Hi All,
Could you please provide the suggestions to achieve below scenario:
There are 3 cases. Case A ,B and C. Case A and B are in progress.
Now For case C user has selected a specific value on screen , then at that point Case A and Case B should be moved to other stage.
Case A, B, C doesnt have parent-child case relationships.

Hello,
How to do you know from C that A and B have to be moved? Even if you do not have the Parent/Child relationship I guess you will have to store A and B keys into C somehow.

Hi Marc,
We have Keys A and B on Case C. one way is we can open the Case A and B with keys and move them to next stage.
If any lock issue, we need to have some retry mechanism.
But i would like to know if there is any other way other than the above.

Independent work objects should be opened again as when need base. It can be done in multiple ways,
When specific value selected on case C, then open other case WO and resume from previous instance OR update a flag on other case and handle other case with agents/SLA based on flag OR try with tickets. But locking should be handled properly.

Hi,
Yes, i agree that we can do by acquiring the lock manually on independent objects and update them.
Is there any feature in pega to do this without acquiring lock i.e( creating some dependency between them other than paent-child relationship)??
