Process JSON message from push notification
I built a small POC to enable push notifications following guidelines below, and it's working as expected; that is, on some event, my section is refreshed (Pega 7.3.1)
However, the biggest benefit of push notification is to be able to process the message and set relevant fields on the screen. I'm not able to find any documentation or example of how I can get the message payload and do something with it. Certainly if I'm able to refresh the screen, I would expect that I should be able to map the message and display it on the refreshed section.

The video was helpful and ultimately i ended up creating a sample script in my top section to catch the event and at least log the message. This can further be customized to call a more relevant activity:
