Problem with LSA PVS
I've downloaded and utilized the LSA PVS on a pair of machines and never had an issue at startup.
Now I'm trying it on a new machine (Windows 10) at my current employer (behind firewalls and such) and curious why the startup is failing. Basically I'm getting a response that my URL is "http://:9080". Using LSA_719_VM_20160708.ova
I logged in and ran ifconfig and I don't see a valid IP address for eth0. I've attached the screen print. Not sure if this is the right rabbit hole to be jumping down.
Any help is appreciated.

There are several similar posts on this and other forums listed below which may lead to a solution. This is not a PRPC problem, it is a problem with the Virtual machine establishing network connectivity to the host.

Hi Thanks for your response,
I've been looking around at the solutions but nothing seems to work, I'm not getting any error Message and I've been traying to make the PVS run in VirtualBox and VMWare as well and in both cases I'm getting the same, instead of having the URL with the host ip I get: "http://:9080" where I should have something like "http://192.1680.11:9080"; I tried on a different machine and it worked with no issues. I think something is wrong with the network adapters but I'm not able to find the solution yet.
I'll appreciate your help on this.
Thank you!
PS: the machine in which I'm having issues is a windows 7; the one it works is windows 10.

Hey,
I was able to resolve the issue with the Virtual machine showing just "http://:9080", it was a network setting that was incorrect, make sure to go to your network settings, change adapters settings, and open the corresponding to the Virtual Machine you are using, then properties, and then open the IPv4 settings, in there you have to check everything matches to what's on your virtual machine settings. Got to the Virtual, preferences, Networking and then check the Network adapter to see everything matches, I suggest connect to the internet using and ethernet cable and when selecting the connection type for your virtual, if you are using Bridged Adapter, make sure to select your ethernet connection.
After that just boot your JVM and it should give you the proper IP so you can connect to the PVS.
