Pop-Up a message for report export limit

I've seen the posts about the limit on exporting to Excel reports with more than 10k results. This is fine for us to keep the limit for managing performance. In most of the cases we can simply refine the business needs and get a better report with predefined filters.
However, I've seen no way to alert end-users when the export limit is reached. So they are not aware that data are "missing" in the Excel because there are more than 10k.
Is there an OOTB pop-up message that can display on reports having more than 10K when launching excel export? Otherwise ant suggestion?

As far as I know, there is no OOTB way to do this.
If the report in question does not have paging enabled and has no limit set on max number of rows to retrieve (i.e., value on Data Access tab is 0) then pxResultcount on pyReportContentPage in the clipboard contains the actual total number of results the report would have returned (usually overridden by a DSS setting the max to 10K). This is an unrealistic way to set up a report, as the overhead of running it and staging/rendering the data will be prohibitive.
Your best bet at a custom solution might be to run a report/query to get the total count (e.g., SELECT COUNT(*)) and if the count is greater than the max rows for export, then show a warning.
