Pooling configuration with authentication possible in the service package rule form ? (PRPC 6.3sp1)
Hi All,
Is it possible to configure requestor pool in services package with authentication enabled in the service package rule form ? (PRPC 6.3sp1). I am using stateless mode. The moment I enable authentication, pooling is disabled for stateless requestors. It states so clearly in help on why it is done and so on ... So, I am assuming that this is the expected behaviour.
What I want to know is if there is a way around this ? We don't want to compromise on security but at the same time want to have the option to configure number of requestors in idle state,active state and wait time.

I believe Pega 7 has been enhanced to allow stateless and authenticated service package to use pooling whereas this was not possible for 63sp1. Upgrading to Pega 7 is recommended.

Although in 71 system I see that the pooling tab is enabled; I see help description as below :-
Use the Pooling tab to configure a requestor pool for the services in this service package when they are stateless and unauthenticated. This tab is disabled if, on the Context tab, the Processing Mode field is set to Stateful or the Requires authentication? option is selected
Is this a bug in the documentation ?

Hi Nishan,
I just checked in 7.1.9 instance. If I enable authentication I was able to edit pooling tab also. It looks to be documentation bug.
