PMT function in PEGA does not support 5th parameter "type" which is supported by EXCEL

Hi All,

We have a new business requirement to use PMT function to calculate the monthly rental. The PMT function currently used using excel has 5th parameter "type" (PMT(rate*30/360, nper, pv, [fv], [type]). But the PMT function in Pega version 7.1.8 does not have this 5th parameter. Need your suggestion to know whether this needs any upgrade to PEGA version? or any hotfix to be applied? or can I write a custom function using the pega provided PMT function adding the additional parameters?

Hi Kanagaraj,

I think you can use "Financial • cumipmt" to achieve your requirement, It is having 5 parameter in it's method signature.

The below example calculates the cumulative interest for the first year (periods 1 to 12) when the annual interest is 6%, there is a 30 year term and the present value is 200.000:

Ex : @cumipmt(0.06/12, 12*30, 200000, 1, 12)
