Pega Robotics Studio Slow

My Pega Robotics studio (8.0.1018.0) is really slow to respond when I add new parameters to automations, change the parameter names in an automation, chage automation names, change interrogated control names, zoom in/out in automations and so forth. Has anyone encountered this before? Appreciate any help in getting this resolved!

I have only seen this before on machines where there is some sort of security scan performed on the os files when they change. It might also be something else taking up the resources on your machine. You might also have issues if your solution is being opened from a network drive versus a local one. Those are the three areas I would look at first.
