Pega Robotics Studio 8: reading Acrobat Reader documents

Does anyone know if it's possible to read the text data from a pdf file, assumedly via the Acrobat Reader application, but by any other way if possible?

The following automation displays each line on page 2 of the PDF file in order.  There is also a full text search function.

Using the new PDFConnector and PDFViewer you may work with PDF files.  To use this feature move to at least version 8.0.1030.  Working with Adobe Reader is not supported.

Hi Jeff,

i am using older version of Pega Robotics (8.o), which do not have PDFConnector and PDFViewer. is there any other way to read Pdf file and copy it into word file.

Not using Pega Robotics directly.  You can of course write your own component using any of the generally available pdf libraries.
