Pega Robotics Capability to read Handwritten/scanned document

Hi All

I was checking if the latest service pack from Pega Robotics have the capability to read a handwritten/document or even a scanned PDF file. I can see we have the capability for Screen Ocr but could not find anything conclusive over document Ocr. Any links finding this would be great. I read "Document OCR feature within Pega Robotics has been released since version 8.0 SP1 2007" but not sure if it has capability to read scanned docs.

Hi,

Here is the documentation about DocumentOCR component: https://help.roboticautomation.pega.com/80/Components/DocumentOCR_Component.htm

You have to install OCR Essentials package. Please see installation steps here in section "Installing the OCR screen scraping feature": https://docs-previous.pega.com/pega-robotic-automation-runtime-80-sp1-installation-instructions
