Pega Robotic Desktop Automation - Start My Day
Hello,
We are having a performance issue when running the application with the START MY DAY feature on Pega Robotic Desktop Automation Studio. There is a significant buffering or delay when typing information into the windows form. The problem doesn’t exist if we do not use START MY DAY to start the application. So we are convinced the Pega Robotic Desktop Automation Studio is causing the problem. Any advice about resolving this problem?
We are using Pega Robotic Studio version 8.0.1084.

Do you mean the delay happens when you manually enter information in the form, or that the delay happens when information is being entered by the automation?

The form is not started by an automation. As I said on my initial post, we're just using Start My Day to start the application. No automation is being done within the form nor inside the application.

Hi, Nick - if you are experiencing an immediate performance degradation when injecting into an application especially for a very simple action, such as Start My Day, then the only "typical" reason for this would be antivirus software settings on the desktop. Please try disabling the antivirus and repeating injection for a quick diagnosis of this root cause. Otherwise, this is not a typical issue and you should file an SR and submit logs to Pega GCS for individual troubleshooting of your issue.
