Pega Resources to learn about creating a product file

Is there a link/resource where I can learn about creating product files. 

Why do we include pzinskey for some rules and why we don't for others? 

One reason I know of is the versioning- if the rule is created under a version, then we dont include the pzinskey. But, what are other reasons?

We include the instances of the non- versioned rules. I think the only reason we include this is, these rules doesn't have version.
