Architect Starting to Learn about Pega Systems

Hi Everyone, 

Sorry If this is a trivial question. 

I am looking to start learning about Pega systems and one of the first questions i had was, what is the best way to get hands on the system itself ?

Is there a trial edition / developer edition that I can access ?
