6.3sp1 can't create product file from rule-admin-product
Hi,
I'm on 6.3sp1 attempting to use the "Create Product File" button on the rule-admin-product form, which I've used hundreds of times before, and suddenly today I can not create my zip and I'm wondering if any of you know how I might repair this issue. Here's the button I'm trying to use:
I get the standard popup asking me my zip file name should be, and after I specify that, it just sits there.
Below are a sample of the console logs I am seeing. Notice that they occur every 2 seconds.
I assume this is all happening in a batch process and hence merely tracing the button doesn't show much. Maybe there's a way to at least get a stack trace to be shown on each warning ? Is that a prconfig setting ?

Those error messages indicate that your Oracle database listener does not know about the sample database. If you open up the Database rule for the sample database can you successfully connect to this database?

Thanks for the response. It was very helpful. I can see that some version of framework CPMHC is installed on my system, and that there is a "Database" rule called "sample" that in fact reproduces the "Problem encountered when getting connection for database sample" error if I press its "test connection" button.
But (there's always a but, isn't there) . . .
No one is using CPMHC on this system. In fact, I don't even have the CPMHC rulesets in my access group or rule-application. So why should I be plagued by this error when I try to create my zip from my rule-admin-product that isn't referring to any CPMHC rules ?
Anyway, although I'd love to hear an answer about all of that, I'm happy now. I copied that "Sample" database rule to something called "SampleOriginal" in case someone does want to use it later. Then I deleted the "Sample" database rule, and my zip-creations are working and zippy again.
