Pega Portal hangs after successfully uploading a file using upload file option.
Hi,
I am using pzFilePathWithForm control to upload CSV file to PEGA. The file is uploaded successfully. However the portal is not responding post this action until the browser is refreshed.
Please help.

Are you using this in the form only ? I found this in the history of that control:
'File upload does not work if the control is not in a form. When displayed in a modal or overlay there is no form so these controls mysteriously break without explanation. This can be used there since it wraps the control in a form.'

Hi,
I am using this control in a modal window only. I tried using FilePath control, but the pxRequestor.pyFileUpload property is not set, hence I get an error saying " uploaded template is not valid"

Hi,
Are you able to see busy indicator on the screen depicting the work in progress.
Also what is the size of the csv file being uploaded, may be this could a reason have to tried with any other file which is of smaller size.

Hi,
There is no busy icon on screen, the file is uploaded successfully. When I click upload button again, nothing happens. This issue is seen regardless of any File size.

I have couple of questions ?
1. What is the size of the file ? Is it too huge ? If yes, then what happens when you try to upload a smaller one ?
2. When you say screen freeze, does that mean that you have to completely close the session and open a new one or the screen get restored after sometime ?
3. Is there any error / stack trace in the log during that time when you are encountered the issue ?

Thanks for your reply. Below are the answers to your questions.
1. Screen hangs irrespective of file size. Even with 1 row upload it freezes.
2. Screen doesn't respond until the browser is refreshed. I don't have to close the session and open new one.
3. There are no errors in the logs.
