PEGA platform support for SHA-3
Hi Team,
Please let me know the support for the PEGA platform for SHA-3 protocol.

Pega Platform uses the salted bcrypt hashing algorithm for Password property types.

@MarijeSchillern Thanks for the inputs. I could see the support is extende to SHA 256 & SHA 512 in addition to SHA1.
I just need the roadmap of the product have it on their roadmap to support the below emerging cryptographic algorithms.

@REDDIRANIP I checked with our SME's.
The document below describes the current supported ciphers on Pega Cloud.
There are no immediate plans to support SHA-3 at the moment.
Please can you clarify the nature of your question: are you looking at something specific that cannot be achieved from the supported list?

@MarijeSchillern We need the road map plan for the PEGA platform upcoming versions. Road map for the support of emerging cryptographic algorithms. If not SHA 3 then what we can except.

@REDDIRANIP I believe the current protocols are all in the documentation I listed before...
W.r.t support for all SHA3 variants in the future. We are not currently supporting SHA3 but we do support SHA1, SHA-256 & SHA-512.
We can check if the SME can comment about plans for the future. We have now logged an Enhancement Request which you can quote in future communications: FDBK-104075
