We are looking at externalising kafka in our environment, but looking at the documention is states use version 3.6.0 or earlier.  Current version is 3.8 and they are deprecating zookeeper in preference for KRaft.

So with regards to https://docs.pega.com/bundle/platform-23/page/platform/deployment/externalization-of-services/externalize-kafka-in-your-deployment.html this states recommended sizing for Production being 3 nodes.  But when using KRaft you seperate out the controllers from the brokers (yes you can have combined but not recommended for a production deployment) and so it'll be more than 3 nodes.

Can someone confirm what is supported please its getting rather confusing to say the least.

Also if we are moving away from embedded Kafka, how do we migrate the data?  I couldn't find any documentation for this.
