Pega platform support to Open JDK with JBoss
- Would you be able to confirm Open JDK is officially supported to be used with Pega Platform 7.3.1? We are currently using Oracle JDK 8 and would like to migrate to OpenJDK.
- Will Pega 7.3.1 support OpenJDK 1.8.0_212.
- We are currently using Oracle Java 1.8.0_191 and JBoss RedHat EAP 6.4.

Currently, we use Oracle JDK 1.8.0_191 and JBoss RedHat EAP 6.4. From the platform support guide, we are able to find that Open JDK is supported by Pega. But in the same support guide, they recommended the use of Oracle JDK with JBoss.
- So can you please confirm if we go ahead and migrate from Oracle JDK to Open JDK. Will it create any impact on the existing system.
- Is there any specific reason why Oracle JDK was recommended for JBoss?.
- Is there any known issues for OpenJDK with JBoss with respect to Pega platform?

We have already gone through the platform guide. As per platform guide, Open JDK is supported by Pega platform. But they recommend the use of Oracle JDK with JBOSS.
So can someone confirm why they recommend the use of Oracle JDK with JBoss?. Is there any known issue of using Open JDK with JBoss for Pega?.
