Pega Marketing Segment is not showing any results.

We created a segment in marketing framework but it is not populating any results even after 2-3 days of run. It has been working in other versions. Current version: Pega Marketing 8
Currently running. You may close the segment. It will continue to work in the background.

This can sometime happen then the instance shuts down (or goes down) when the agent queue item for the segment populations was getting processed and then gets stuck.
I would suggest you to check and see if any agent queue item might be stuck in Now processing state and get it removed. Also check the MKT_SEGMENT_HISTORY table which might contain a record for your segment and status column might be containing a value which is which is not Completed or Failed.
Removing the record will fix the UI and you can then re-trigger the segment for population again.

This record is still showing in run status in the MKT-Segment_History table. BTW this table is created in data schema but not in mktschema.
This issue is coming only for criteria segments but the population is working fine for list segments.

You can check whether DeferredSegments agent is running or not without any issues. If not running, make sure it is running.
