Pega Knowledge-- how to add a role to Authorized role drop down in Taxonomy
Hi:
I have an application which will call Pega Knowledge. How can I add the roles related to my application to the "Authorized role" drop down in Taxonomy when adding or editing a category? Currently all the authorized roles are related to Pega KM, which means the content visibility is tied to Pega KM roles. If I want to restrict content visibility based on application roles, how can I do it?

"Assigning access roles in Pega requires visibility to that application using an operator that has privileges for the system administrator role and access to the Pega Knowledge portal. It is a best practice to modify one of your Pega application's System Administrator operator's access group or create a new operator to include the KMPortal portal and PegaCA:Publisher role. The operator's application rule should also include the PegaKMPortal:08-01 ruleset that is placed above any Pega- rulesets. This operator then has access to both your application and Pega Knowledge, allowing the visibility and assignment of your application's access roles to the taxonomy categories through the Taxonomy editor."
But when I try to add PegaCA:Publisher , the system complains that it is not a valid record.
And after I open the Knowledge Portal from my application, the layout and format in Knowledge Portal is messed up.

But could you please explain it in more detail? What is this CPMKmSysadmin? Is this an ID provided by KM by default? Or an ID I need to create by myself? I search the IDs in the operator list but cannot find it.

KMSysAdmin(Knowledge Management Administator) is a Pega OOTB Accessgroup. You can add these access group to your operator.

Thanks a lot for your reply! But what I want to do is not add a KM access group to my application, instead, I want to add an application access group to KM. For example, I have an application xyz, I want to add xyz:administrators to KM authorized role list, how can I do that?
