Pega : Exercise System : Report exercise : Not able to switch to dev studio
Hi Team,
I am working on SYSTEM ARCHITECT ESSENTIALS course exercise, and try to work on
Exercise: Designing a business report
However, when logging thru operator author_rep@gogoroad, I see no option to switch to Dev studio.
screenshot attached.
Please advise.
Should I work with other operator id and create "Public" reports as an workaround?
Note : other operator are showing the App studio & Dev studio both.

1) Is the turn run time editing off ?
In the right-bottom corner click on gear icon. you should see
which means runtime editing is on. If not click on it so that it will switch to App studio.
2) If the above approach is not working
logoff and login with author@gogoroad and password: rules
Switch to Dev Studio >> Records >> Organization >> OperatorID
click on author_rep@gogoroad operator id >> Application access >>
check if the user has author access, if not add gogoroad:author access and save
logoff and login with the author_rep@gogoroad >> You should see App studio

It looks like there is some error with exercise system. But you can create a reports from there i attaches the image. Hope it will help.Have a great day

Hi Swatic,
Open Operator data instance and Open Access Group of the corresponding application.
Check if the 'Developer' is added in the list. If not, please add it. Then Save the Access Group Data instance and the Operator Data Instance. Log-out and re-login.
You should be able to see the option to switch to Dev Stusio now.
Please let me know if these steps are working for you.
