Pega DX API v2 in 8.4

What are the advantages of DX API v2 available in 8.4 version and can we replace the new API's with the old ones

@RAJESHC17   There is no V2 in 8.4.   V2 will be in 8.6 and documentation will be available shortly afterwards, however it is totally different than V1.

@gagnpThanks Paul for this information. 

I am looking for high-level features that will be baked the V2. Any information would be great. We have developed an application on DX API V1 and looking forward to some improvements.

@gagnp Hi Paul, i am using pega 8.4.1 and i see that under api service package , around 11 services belong to v2 version , is this a partial support in 8.4.1 ?. I could not find any official document that says that v2 is supported only from pega 8.6? Could you help me with any such documentation?
