I have a client who is looking to extract information out of their Pega system. We are currently weighing up the between using the BIX extract mechanism or the REST API. Our skillsets are more in line with the REST API option, however we want to ensure we choose the option that gives the client the best access to their data.

Are there significant differences between these two options in terms of what entities are available to extract? If so, what are the specific pros and cons between the two options?
