Pega DSS - Overview/Description

Hi

I’m looking for an Overview with descriptions for the Pega Dynamic System Settings and a way how I can get some information from the System, which changes can bring an positive effect to the performance.

Standard DSS settings are given in the help at https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v731/zstandarddata/data-admin-systemsettings.htm

This help also says "Consult the Configuration Settings Reference on the PDN for additional details on specific Dynamic System Settings instances." 
The document can be located at: https://community.pega.com/system/files/pdfs/ProductSupport/Products/PegaRULESProcessCommander/documents/PRPC/V6/602/ConfigSettingsReference0602.pdf

Some of the more recent settings (e.g. those added in 7.x) were not present in 6.2 and are therefore not included in this doc. Unfortunately, there isn't a newer version of the doc with 7.x settings in it but it is possible to locate **most** settings on the community area by searching.

To be simpler, if any value is specific to any environment then you can create a DSS.

As this is data instance, it is not locked and even easy for business people to change.

Thanks for the Answers. What I need is the following
 

I've have for example the DSS prconfig/conclusioncache/rulefilebinary/minimumsize/default
What I need is the description for the System Setting itself, what does it in the engine?
What is the best way to get the correct Value of the DSS.
We can do it via Load and Performance Tests, where we chance the Cache Size, but this will be very time consuming.
I'm locking for a way where Pega tells me, how the Chache is used and what will be an value which fit's better.

I don't need a description what DSS means ;-)

There aren't DSS settings or numbers that can be tweaked to improve general system performance. Only after proper analysis of what is impacting the performance, either done by GCS staff or certified consultants, changes or additional DSS may be recommended.
