DSS to increase Passivation time

Hi,

I want to increase Passivation time from default value of 1 hr to 2 hr.

I tried creating a new DSS called Pega-Engine • prconfig/timeout/browser/default and gave the value as 7200 and restarted the servere.

But still it is passivating in 1hr.

what am i missing?

Hi Ashish,

Have a look at this Online Help guide:

Have your also enable the setting of <env name="Initialization/PersistRequestor" value="OnTimeout"/>

yes i also have "Initialization/PersistRequestor" also enabled.. and i feel that is why it is passivating.. but though my dss is updated for 2 hr, it is still doing after 1 hr .

This is strange. If you do a change by setting the timeout to 10 minutes only. Does the passivation get executed as configured?
