I've just installed Pega Automation Studio 8.0 SP1 8.0.2057 on a machine running Windows Server 2012 R2.
I cannot start the studio. The fallback log indicates a DLL is missing:
Exception Type: System.IO.FileNotFoundException
Message: "Could not load file or assembly 'Pega.Interop, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=f5db91edc02d8c5e' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
FileName: "Pega.Interop, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=f5db91edc02d8c5e"
I repaired the installation (twice) and restarted each time. The error does not change.

Still investigating the problem. The PDB file for Pega.Interop is present, but not the DLL. That's unusual--a PDB file should always have a DLL. And the date for the PDB is much older. See attached screenshot.
