Hi - We are trying to implement scenario testing in Pega 8.4.1 environment and facing an issue while trying to identify/record a submit action on a button that is customized but has a generated test id. Attached screenshot has the error message, "Unable to record this element as this is unsupported element or has invalud DOM structure " please suggest any resolution for this issue.
Also, in certain cases when trying to run a testcase, the automation recorder is getting closed automatically. Unable to figure out a reason for this. Please share any suggestion on this as well.
Thanks Abhishek and Sriteja - I have updated the button control to latest version(post upgrade) and the recorder started identifying the element from there on.
However there are other issues that I have been facing with a repeating grid, where an expand icon is available on the user interface and a click operation is being recorded. While rerunning the test case, the click action is happening on a row instead of the "expand icon". There is no attribute associated with this step as well.
Please help with any suggestions on how to record such elements. Also there is no reference anywhere on how to use "Custom Selector" option, please share any example on this as well.
