Pega 7.4 Installation Error : Unable to load phase 2 bootstrap class

I am new in Pega. Downloaded the Personal edition 7.4 (116090_PE740.zip) and done the fresh installation in my laptop (Windows 10 64 bit). Tomcat started automatically with below error. confirmed that rweb has not deployed in tomcat.

Unable to load phase 2 bootstrap class: com.pega.pegarules.internal.bootstrap.phase2.PRBootstrapImpl

I deleted and reinstalled the same but getting same error. when I tried third time and choose different folder, the installation wizard struck somewhere and not even ending the process.

Could anyone please help me out on resolving the issue.

Hi,

I hope you have successfully done the schema creation and running the PEGA rule base setup?

I believe you are getting this error after deploying the prweb war/ear to tomcat and starting the server right?

Basically the  error message you have is not sufficient to tell the exacat root cause for the issue, there may be chances of misconfiguring the context.xml file and forgot to include jdbc  jar in lib folder..etc.

It more or less related to DB connection issue.

So could you please attach complete Server log to find the root cause?
