Is there a way to pass the filter conditions of one report to another report?
Requirement:
We have a report A with certain number of columns.
We have another report B with cetrain number of columns.
Users would like to apply same filter conditions on both the reports, hence they wanted to retain the filters used in report A when they access report B.
We are already considering combining report A and report B into one report, if the users wanted to apply same filter conditions. But the only issue with that is Report A already has 150 columns and Report B also has 150 columns and in turn calls various subreports.
Hence, didn't want to combine both the reports together.
Is there any way to pass the filters from one report to another?

I have never tried it, but you may be able to specify the same custom filter section for both reports, and have a separate button or link for launching each report.
I can't imagine a 150 column report is useful interactively, so I'm assuming the results are either being exported to Excel or consumed by another process. Have you considered using BIX for this?

Hi RonLee_GCS,
Yes, it is not a UI report, users are downloading it in Excel and working on it.
We don't have BIX in our environment yet and are interested to see the other alternate options.
