Pega 7.2 Personal Edition Launch error
Hi Team ,
I have installed Pega 7.2 personal edition in my system (with temp admin rights) , the application works fine with the admin rights , but once the admin rights is removed tomcat server is not able to launch/start PRPC , below is the error i am seeing , Any help is greatly appreciated .

You may just be able to open the port rather than disabling the whole firewall. That would confirm that the port was the issue (and is also safer than disabling the firewall).
In any case, it seems that you are correct:
Connection to localhost:5432 refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections.
Tomcat doesn't seem to be able to connect to the database and the port is the likely suspect.
Looks like without admin rights system was not able to access the port 5432 , after disabling the firewall , its working fine , Appreciate if you can confirm the same .
