Pega 6.1 SP2 not working with Microsoft Office 2016
We are facing some issue in Word letter generation using Pega 6.1 Sp2 application , Because my organization updated Office 2010 to office 2016. We have upgrade plan for next year for Pega 7.2.2 . Is there any way to support Office 2016 at least for MSword.

Hi,
PRPC 6.1 SP2 does not support MS Word 2016, since it was shipped before Office 2016.
Although there is one hotfix for MSWord 2013 support

Hi Shubham , Our organization updating Office 2010 to Office 2016, because of that End user are facing this issue. We already have a migration plan end of this year or early next year. So we need some work around.
Now business is also exploring another options , Could you please help us to keep this in Pega itself ?

Hi Avinash,
It turn out that I don't have any alternative for you here other than suggesting pega upgrade. You can always raise enhancement request but I guess by the time it will be processed you would already have upgraded.

That would be hard. You can always raise a Enhancement request and speak to your account executive about the urgency, it might help you to escalate the request but it will come down to pega product management decision
