PDN Feed connection refused error post 7.2.2 upgrade from 7.2

Post upgrade from 7.2 to 7.2.2, caught into this issue.

** ** Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException: Connect to pdn.pega.com:80 [pdn.pega.com/, pdn.pega.com/] failed:

Pega is not able to connect to rest services, even the PDN Feed wont load on the Designer Studio home page.

Post upgrade from 7.2 to 7.2.2, caught into this issue.

Since we are behind a proxy, we are sending the following options into the JVM as seen in SMA.
-Dhttp.proxySet=true -Dhttp.proxyHost=pproxy01 -Dhttp.proxyPort=
These are same as for 7.2 environments, where the connector used to work correctly.

Please suggest.
