PCS - Replacement for potentially deprecated code
Hi - In PCS , activity ComMedTProductBenefitPre is used to call activity getBenefitProper which in turn extract the benefit details . This design was followed in PCS 7.4 but from PCS 8.1 this getBenefitProper call is removed completely from the parent activity . I am not seeing any documentation in PDN suggesting the best / alternative way to retrieve benefit details in this scenario . Can any one from Pega or community help me in finding the right solution for this issue.Thank you

Hi,
getBenefitProper activity fetches the benefit details due to which the size of the clipboard is increased. So this activity call is removed from the parent activity and the code has been optimized to dynamically fetch the benefit details when the screen is loaded using datapage "D_GetBenefitByCategoryAndKey". This datapage can be used to fetch the benefit details. Hope this clarifies your query.
