Patch/Upgrade documentation mentions deleting WAR but not redeploying
My On-Prem GOV Client is trying to patch a security issue today and they cant use(blocked) upgrade asst. It is going from 8.6.3 to 8.6.6 and the documentation for post upgrade (pg25) mentions shutting down tomcat, deleting the WAR file and restarting. No mention of redeploying the 8.6.6 WAR file. The client team is unclear here and I am not clear myself.
This is mentioned similarly in community https://support.pega.com/question/patch-upgrade as well and the document posted there does not mention this either. What is supposed to happen here?

I was not able to get an explanation on this but the team was able to get the updated after a few tries with some errors.

Hi Alexander,
I think the best option would be to send your question via an email to DocRequest(at)Pega(dot)com to find out why there is no mention of redeploying the 8.6.6 WAR file.
That should get your question directly to the hands of the team who wrote that document.
