Patch upgrade
Are the 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 prweb.war files the same? The documentation for patch upgrades indicates that you run upgrade.sh and then restart the jvms; no mention of redeploying the war file. I am assuming this means that the war files are the same in the patch versions but would like confirmation. Also, fyi to Pega, in the "in place" documentation it says to use the "temporary schemas" in the setupDatabase.properties file. There are no temporary schemas in an inplace situation; seems like a copy/past error

For patch (8.3.0 to 8.3.5),
Do we transfer all the upgrade files into the server folder first?
And also how long was the downtime for you?

While the 8.3.1 and the 8.3.2 .war files may be identical, this doesn't mean that future releases will not change the .war file. We do, however, ensure forward compatible changes to patch releases such that the 8.3.1 .war will continue to work with any future 8.3.x release (code & rules in the database).
I've logged a bug for our documentation team to remove the reference to a temporary schema during in-place upgrades. Thanks for pointing it out.
