Opening an Adapter in TFS is giving error
Hi Community,
I have created a new project where I add existing items from an old project with the Global Container. Now when I'm trying to run the new project, I'm getting this error "Deployment Package is not found"I
In another project, the automation is running but when trying to open an adapter it says, "Designer failed to load: root component cannot be null"
I'm adding a screenshot too. Any help will be much appreciated.

I found the root cause of the TFS issue. There is a .res file with the adapter which actually doesn't get added while checking in TFS. So I manually added that in TFS and checked in and now it's opening in TFS

Did you create references to these objects or did you actually copy them into the project? If you copied them, make sure you have access to the folder where the objects you're trying to access currently live.

Hi Grona,
I downloaded the project from TFS and opened in TFS. When I copied the same project in my desktop and opened without TFS the adapter opened but in TFS the adapter shows error. Project runs but adapter doesn't open.

Have you already tried doing a Clean and Rebuild on your Solution? If there are any references in your Global Container that are invalid, that could be causing issue. If you are also adding the Global Container from a project built in an earlier version of OpenSpan, it might be safe to first upgrade a copy of that Solution before trying to add that component to your new Solution.

Hello Vegam,
Yes I cleaned and rebuild the solution. Global container is built in the same version of OpenSpan. Since, I was having the issue with adapter and I had to more interrogation inside the adapter, I created a new project and add those as existing item. That is when the global container was showing error: deployment package not found.
