Open Span studio - throwing error when getting launched
Hi,
I have installed open span studio in my personal laptop. The studio got successfully launched at the first time and I have created project/solutions too. It suddenly started throwing error message pop up which showed - "A problem occurred when loading the menu. To fix this problem, run 'OpenSpan.Studio.Shell.exe/resetsettings' from the command prompt.Note: This command resets your environment settings".
I have uninstalled and then re installed open span. At the time of installation, it did not get any error. But again the same problem started to occur. I have run the command in the command prompt, but the same pop up is coming again and again. Have anyone faced the same problem? Can anyone please help.

It is not recommended to install Pega Robotics Studio alongside Visual Studio. Conflicts like these are the exact reason for it. We have a version called Pega Robotics Studio Plugin that works as a plugin for Visual Studio and this is what you should be using - or you should uninstall Visual Studio (if you go this route, go ahead and uninstall both and then re-install Robotics Studio again).

That is very weird. You may have some conflicting software. Do you have Visual Studio installed alongside OpenSpan Studio? or perhaps you have .Net 4.7? Can you give us details to your environment? a list of installed applications?

Visual Studio is installed. I thought to run a "repair" on visual studio if there is any problem in it. Regarding .Net , I have version 4.5 and 4.6 installed in my pc. I am using windows 8.1. Please let me know for any further information.

Hi Vegam,
I have uninstalled all the associated components of Open Span and also uninstalled visual studio. Performed a fresh installation after that for Open Span. It is working now. Thanks for your help.
