I am working on Pega 7.1.8.

I just want to implement a new feature where in users to be notified of the latest release content upon login in a pop-up wherein they would be performing certain action (acknowledge or remind me later). Acknowledge would save user preferences and other option would show the pop-up screen again upon subsequent login.

So to answer your question whether user has to be shown some content in modal dialogue -> Yes that is true.

& Do I not want to show the portal -> Ideally i want to have this pop-up to be splashed on the portal so that user has to take an action on the pop-up buttons before he can access the portal.
