Not able to match a button control when multiple case tabs were open with same target control on all tabs
Hello All,
I'm facing an issue where not able to match the controls while multiple case tabs were open. I'm trying to match control on all tabs(case) where all the tabs contains same button.
I need a universal match to that object button, when ever i open a new case it should match ignoring the old tabs.
I want the object control to be matched on the current/active case tab though all tabs are open aside.
Note: We cant close the case tabs opened earlier to the latest tab.

You would enable UseKeys on whatever control in your hierarchy is actually duplicated. I suspect that it is your web page control based on the screen shots. You could then use the Active key for the button when triggered from your automation.

Hello tsasnett,
I have implemented the UseKeys and assigned counter as a Key to it, but still 2nd iteration fails. I have also used detach-rematch to make it work but no luck.
Please look at the attached image and suggest.

I tried passing Key as well as Value too. But nothing seems giving desired outcome. Please find the screenshot here. Also if you can give me the exact example will help a lot.

Without access to your application, I cannot provide an example for you. I would suggest getting some support from our professional services organization or one of our partners as this will likely require some hands on assistance. The concept is straight-forward, but you need to understand how keying and cloning work.

The Control which gets created for second instance has been enabled with UseKeys option and being tried to be used here.
