Node is not showing in Admin Studio
Hi all, Thanks for viewing my post. We are upgrading from 7 to 8.1.4 and have seen that there is an issue with nodes. This is from Weblogic to Jboss. Starting instances is fine but once both instances are up one is not showing in admin studio.
We checked the py_sys_statusnodes and see both nodes in running state. We truncated that table and deleted records from few others in hopes it was an issue with old records yet the issue persists. Tried also clearing cache pr_temp and restarting. We are using DSS values to set stream service ports and see that stream service is running.
Also seeing in the logs below error in the log of the instance running properly (7a9320a0dbdc3dc5f2999421eeb84d8d) internal.async.Agent) FATAL - Did not receive ping from node initialization, agents may not execute correctly. Verify e-tier configuration. Ping message sent GMT but never received.
Noticed that Cassandra was running on both instances while our other application is only running Cassandra on one.
We tried also by switching system from Pega to PRPC in effort to trouble shoot. It created new node ids but didn’t fix issue.
