No Nodes After Accessing prsysmgmt

Hi,

Quick question, what does it mean when there's no node when you open the prsysmgmt?

did I missed a setting or is there really no node at all?

I'm betting on the former tho.

Note that I can't open SMA from the Designer Studio > System > Operations > System Management Application. But I can open it if I run it with [link/prsysmgmt] (when I tried to open it from Designer Studio it shows "localhost" on the link).

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Hi,

After installation of the SMA, we need to initially add node in SMA by clicking + button, once you have added the node will persist.

Regarding opening from the Designer Studio, you have to change system urls navigating to the Designer Studio ->Settings -> URLs

Just to clarify, our SMA doesn't have any node yet and that means agents, listener, etc is not working as intended?

also,
Does this mean that once I add a node it will automatically checks for agents, listener, etc ?

SMA is used to see the details and make changes based on our requirement like stopping or starting listeners. 

SMA will connect to pega application and shows the status of listeners and agents, without SMA those are working independently.
