No alert message for closing tab via IAC

The alert message when closing a tab doesn't come up when I access the application via IAC. However, if I login directly to the application, the alert message comes up when I try to close a tab.

We're using the same harness so I can't explain why it's not working for the IAC one. Does anybody know?

We're using Pega 6.2 SP2.

can you provide fiddler trace (or F12 trace from IE) for both working and non-working scenarios? I assume this is happening for all browsers? Attach some screenshots to elaborate if possible.

Hi Kevin,

We're only using IE11. Based on the trace it seems like doExplorerFormIsDirty is returning false which is why it doesn't trigger the confirm message.

Logging off via IAC has no issues for us.

Are you noticing any javascript errors when doing the logoff from the gadget. (you will have to enable javascript debugging from browser settings)

You might also want to enable Web Client logging to see if something is wrong (see this: https://pdn.pega.com/enabling-event-logging-pega-web-mashup-client)
