Need Email listener suport for Exchange Web services
A growing number of companies are no longer supporting IMAP/POP3 connections in a production environment. In order for Outlook integration to work in SFA strategic application an email listener is required. In SFA 7.21 only IMAP/POP3 connections are supported.
Looking at SFA 7.22 I noticed the other SOAP connections for EWS are implemented, but I do not see them used and it looks like I can still only configure POP3/IMAP connections. I do not currently have access to a later version, is EWS support for listeners in the works?
Can Pega give some guidance to those of us that cannot use IMAP/POP3 connections on how we might implement those in an upgrade friendly way.

I do not believe there is anything out of the box right now in the Pega Platform that would cover this, however, you could deploy Exchange Web Services on your Exchange server and create connectors in Pega to meet your requirement.

Exchange web services are already implemented that's why we would like to use them. Additionally as I said above he soap connecters exist in a future version of SFA (at least the package I had access to). Does Pega have plans to do something with these? Rolling are own is a considerable amount of effort and if Pega has a solution in the works it would be preferable.

This is currently not supported by the Pega platform. It has been raised by another customer also, and we will let you know if this gets addresses in a future release.
