Moving rules from pega 7 application to pega 8 applicaiton
Hi,
we are in process of upgrading application from 7.1 to 8.1 , at this time our old application is used for regular development(new change requests , defects ) .. so we planning to move regular development rules to new application after compliance upgrade is done before functional testing .
?? Just importing package that contains rule of 7.1 to 8.1 is enough or do we need to run any upgrade scripts again or is there any process steps..
please can any one share experience or information

Importing package that contains rule of 7.1 to 8.1 should be enough, I remember doing the same when we upgraded from 6.3 to 7.3 for one of our client application. I don't think we faced any issues because of this.
