Move the application from Pega 7.1.9 to 7.3 .
We want to move the application from Pega 7.1.9 to 7.3 .
Few of the documents in PDN it's mentioned as a update and few of them it''s upgrade.
Can you please confirm whether we need to go with update or upgrade?

Just to clarify your doubt,
Upgrade:-
Moving from any previous versions of 4.x, 5.x or 6.x to 7.x is an upgrade. In this case, there is a change in the major version (PRPC 5.x, 6.x to 7.x).
Update:-
Moving an application from any Pega 7.x version to latest version(for ex 7.2 to 7.3) is an update.
Note:-
- You can do an update/upgrade both for moving Pega 7.1.9 to 7.3.
- It's not recommended to do an upgrade in your case, as upgrade script additionally does have 7.x rulesets available, thus not required when migrating within 7.x versions.
- Updates are smaller and faster than upgrades.
